Contracting Division

Our Contracting division caters to Power Projects for Electrical Industry and Power Transmission and Distribution Utilities, Residential Commercial Units with an aim of reaching out to a large diversified Real Estate based in Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, undertaking all kinds of Electrical, Cable Laying, Jointing & Terminations, Testing and Commissioning of 11kV, 33kV Class Substations including supply of equipment’s and Directional Drilling works.

Since our establishment, we have grown steadily over the years gaining much experience and having established as a reliable Contracting Company – we have invested much in upgrading our infrastructure – and now, the plan is underway to expand to support 132kV Voltage Class Substations in the near future.

For better service and on-demand mobilization, the division is equipped with essential equipment’s such as JCB’s, Wheel Loaders, and Graders for Levelling, Plate Compactors, Rollers and Trailers, Cable Pulling Winch and Handling Devices, state of the art Testing Equipment’s, Primary Current Injection Kit, Cable Fault Locator, High Voltage Pressure Tester, HV Diagnosis tool etc.

Throughout in all our projects, we have ensured that high level of safety precautions are taken during operation with high voltage cables, transformers, switchgear etc. under the supervision of experts in this field.

Engineering Division (SCADA)

The Engineering Divison is fully equipped with the state the art types of equipment and professionally qualified engineers in the field of networking and communication to cater to the growing demand for SCADA communication services in the United Arab Emirates.

Directional Drilling Division

Directional drilling has now become a major force in NDRC works and a major contribution to the tunneling division. Directional drilling method for performing crossings of a wide variety of surface obstructions was developed in the 1970’s by combining techniques employed by conventional road boring and the horizontal directional drilling of oil and gas wells. This method is now widely employed for the placement of pipelines and conduits for petroleum products, fiber optic and electric cables, water and wastewater lines and for the transmission of other products.

The process generally includes three distinct phase beginning with the drilling of the pilot hole from the surface on one side of the obstacle to be crossed.

Drilling continues along a designed profile below and beyond the obstacle to exit at the surface on the other side.

The second phase entails the reaming of the pilot hole to a diameter sufficiently large enough to accept the pipeline or conduit. Finally, the pipeline or conduit is pulled into place within the enlarged hole. These processes are discussed in greater detail in the method statement.

The advantages of directional drilling installation method over alternative constructions method are numerous. Environmental issues are minimized as operations are limited to relatively small areas to each end of as opposed to, the complete length of the installation.

Normal activity such as river, highway, or airport runway traffic can continue unhindered during installation as it is not disrupted along the surface of the installation.

This factor is especially important when drilling is residential or commercial areas. Optimum depth of cover in the design of the crossing yields maximum protection for the pipeline or conduit and reduces long-term maintenance costs.
